FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does my company have to change carriers as part of the audit?
No. Changing carriers is not required or even recommended. Our
auditors can reduce telecom expenses without changing your existing carriers.
How long does a telecom invoice audit take?
Clients should begin to see refunds and our recommendations within
30 to 45 days. The overall timeline depends on factors like the number
of your locations and number of vendors.
Does the telecom auditor work in our office?
No, telecom auditing is done off-site. All that is required is
access to the telecom invoices. In some cases 1 or 2 conversations are
necessary between the telecom auditor and the client. Just as an example,
Zone Resources has clients throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. Each
client gets the maximim refunds and savings even though we do not work
on-site in the clients' office.
Can our company do this ourselves?
Telecom invoice auditing is a very time intensive and detailed
oriented task. It requires dedicated staff with specific knowledge and
experience with telecom to do the job completely. One of the benefits
of selecting us perform the analysis is that it allows your employees
to focus on their existing job duties.
Will my current telecommunication services be interrupted?
Absolutely not. Our findings can not be implemented without your
approval.
Would this damage my relationship with my current telecom vendors?
No, not at all. Most, if not all telecom vendors, realize bill auditing
is a part of doing business, especially in today's economy. Not only that,
but also telecom providers have departments that are dedicated to billing
only.
How much time do I need to dedicate a staff member to this project?
After we receive the required paperwork to get started, we do all the
work. As we proceed through the process, if we have any questions then
we will ask for a brief moment to explain any significant items.
How much of a refund can we expect?
According to Network World, "80% of bills contain overcharges that
will appear month after month..." Please refer to our Refund
Calculator.
How much savings can we expect?
Typically, we save businesses 20% to 35% per year without changing carriers.
For example, if a business is spending $10,000 per year, we could reduce
that expense by $2,000 to $3,500 per year without switching carriers or
sacrificing quality of service.
What are the fees?
There are no up front costs. Our fees are funded from the savings
we provide. If we find savings, then we ask to share in the savings. If
we do not recover any refunds, there is no fee.
Do you guarantee results?
Yes. Our guarantee is if we don't generate savings for your company, then
you owe us nothing.
How frequently should a company perform a thorough a telecom
invoice audit?
We recommend 1 time per year (every 12 months). However, refunds can be
recovered from telecom billing mistakes up to 3 years (36 months).
